Beautiful scenery, lovely apartments, and a peaceful setting for relaxation after hectic cultural visits to nearby Florence and Sienna. The pool is bordered on two sides by a vineyard, so you really feel part of the Chianti region. It's far enough away from the main road to ensure tranquility, but with good access to nearby towns for those important shopping... More

Our stay was fabulous, the beds were king size! (in three of the bedrooms) and comfortable. The kitchen was great. There were 7 or 8 of us and we never felt crowded. The photographs on the internet did not do it justice. San Sano is picture perfect, small, quaint, and friendly. The restaurant across the street from our villa was... More

We visited the Tuscan region in January 2010 and stayed in the villa Casa Isabella in San Sano. To Tuscany was exceptionally helpful from the time of booking to the time of arrival with someone in San Sano to assist us upon arrival. The villa was perfect for a family of four travelling with young children. We found it to... More

Visited Italy at least 50 times in the past 50 years, always visiting beautiful Italian cities but never experienced real Tuscany until this trip . It was slow and relaxing but vibrant and interesting at the same time....it was Italy full of colour, breath-taking sceneries... very old and genuine but comfortable and pleasant .San Sano is the epicentre of it... Stayed at LaScuderia on of the rentals in this sleepy hamlet in Sep 09. Like other reviews I have to say it more than met our expectations. The restaurant in the hamlet is expensive and so is the shop so do your shopping in Gaoile or Radda - both about 15 mins drive. Lecchi is a similar small village near... More

We stayed in the small village of San Sano. It is truly lovely with panoramic views in a quiet and relaxing environment. We stayed in La Scuderia one of the rented villas with use of the shared pool. The villa was excellent. The only down side was the sporadic water pressure which meant getting ready took some time in the... More

We were in San Sano for the annual art festival, which was wonderful. We love this village, it is so special to stay in a authentic medieval village with Italians walking their dogs and saying "ciao" to us. The restaurant is very good and homey. We stayed at Casa Amore - a rented villa in San Sano, and would stay... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday staying at Casa del Mastro in San Sano which is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding towns and villages or simply for relaxing by the pool. The apartment is located in a small village and whilst there are a couple of other villas nearby, we still felt we had all the privacy we needed... More
