We stayed in the two floored apartment for 3 nights with our 2 children and used it as a base to travel into France and Donostia. It was very nice to use the kitchen and washer and have b-fast there. We planned on having dinner there but we had so many great options right outside our front door that we... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was a pity we had to leave... We liked everything. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town so everything is just at your hand: charming basque houses, traditional bars and restaurants, the bay with plenty of fishmen boats etc. We had a wonderful family room located... I will start with what the hotel can control and is long term. The location is at the center of Hondarribia, right next to a quaint street with pintxos bars and a nice local feel given its a tourist town. I found this more charming and managable than San Sebastian or Biarritz which were both sort of bigger examples of... More

We chose this hotel after a week in San Sebastian and 5 days in France because it's relatively close to the San Sebastian airport. From the moment we parked the car in 1 of 3 hotel loading spots in front of the hotel and dragged our luggage in, Sonia took care of us with warmth and professionalism. Iberia had cancelled... More

Comfortable hotel right in the centre of the town. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed breakfast as lots of fresh fruit and a good choice of breads, tortilla, cold meats etc. Just had to get code from reception for free wifi. Only downside was poor sound insulation but the nights were very quiet nonetheless. More

Had a very short, but enjoyable stay. Lovely, modern room and bathroom, with double aspect as it was a corner room (plenty of windows). Busy hotel bar below was a pleasant place for a drink and bite to eat. We found the hotel by chance, searching for somewhere to stay on return from southern Spain to northern France. Only downside... I stayed in this hotel in June, 2002, because the Hostal Alvarez Quintero, right up the street, was full. If you are in this price range, the hotel, in a perfect location, is very comfortable, with all the amenities. Air-conditoning is nice, but not really necessary as you are on the Atlantic coast. I have been to Hondarribia five tlmes,... More

This is a simple, well-maintained and well-staffed hotel in a pleasant and busy center of a small fishing town. The rooms are clean, simple and comfortable. There is nothing fancy about this hotel. Nor is there any aspect of being run-down. Parking is close, many little shops, bars and restaurants surround the location and people often stay up late into... More
