We have just returned from a wonderful restful break at the Manor Farm Oast. We had a fantastic stay, the oast house is set in a very peaceful location, surrounded by fields of grazing sheep and their lambs and orchards full of apple blossom. The house was very warm and cosy, our room looked out over their pretty garden, and... More

Beautifully kept property - our room was a decent size for three, with a large bathroom. Really friendly hosts who gave us a warm welcome and could not do enough for us. The room and bathroom were spotless, the house really quiet and cosy and the surrounding countryside very pretty. Breakfast really tasty, with a fantastic selection of fresh fruit,... More

This is a great place and we are so glad we found it. We stayed on the Saturday night of the Easter weekend. We had the round room - spacious and Comfy - great bed! The room has a separate, private bathroom which suited us just fine. The bathroom was big and spotless. Wonderful welcome from Kate who offered a... More

Whilst visiting the area for a family occasion we pre-booked a cream tea at the Manor Farm Oast. We received a very warm welcome indeed and tea was delicious with a tasty selection of sandwiches, home-made scones and choice of tea blends. We ate in part of the beautifully restored oast house which was warm and cosy on a chilly... More

We didn’t think it professional to find the prices conflicting on their website. Genuine queries were met with hostility. The accommodation didn’t feel private. Everything could could be heared all around the house. The stairs creaked badly which could have been annoying for other guests had there been any. The down stairs communal cloakroom was very dark dowdy and didn’t... More

It saddens me that guest accommodation providers have to put up with this type of harassment. This the the SECOND review after 2 months by the same party. Q? Why does it take TWO MONTHS to place a second review? More

Beware 3 different prices quoted on owner's website. Does not openly offer lower price and was not happy when this abnormality was brought to her attention. Draw your own conclusion!!! Any queries, considered by owner to be unusual, are dealt with in a hostile and aggresive manner. Breakfast served between 8.30 and 9.00. far too early whilst on holiday. Departure... More

The 'bizarre' decor in the breakfast room is personal taste, and at the end of the day we are opening our HOME to guests. For a more bland decor, maybe this guest should use a corporate hotel. There is a guest lounge which is shown to all guests on arrival and is furnished with comfortable sofas and a range of... More

I chose this B&B for a one night stay with myhusband, mother-in-law and brother-in-law because of the excellent reviews it had been given on Trip Advisor and elsewhere. My husband and I stayed in a double room that was brilliant. However, there was a problem with the sink tap in the room that my brother-in-law and mother-in-law stayed which meant... More

The hosts were warm, lovely and very helpful. The food was amazing, I would definately recommend the 5 course meal to anyone (and the breakfast too). I was there with my girlfriend and the ambience was perfect and we felt very special. Unfortunately the weather rained all weekend but this did not dampen our spirits and we still manged a... More

This is a converted oast house on the edge of a farm (not theirs I don't think). You need to follow slightly complex instructions to arrive there-make sure you print them! There are a few other new houses next door, but it feels peaceful and the lack of light pollution is very nice for star gazing. The breakfast is really... More
