Our second visit to Kellah Farm. This time to the B&B. After a warm welcome, and exploring the working farm, ( looking at the new lambs and calfs) we slept very comfortable in our family room. We had a great breakfast ( a full range of choices), and to the delight of my two boys there were fresh strawberries. A... More

At Kellah we received the best welcome we have ever had at a B&B and our four-night stay continued to delight us. My daughter, grandson and I had a family room ("Birdoswald")in the B&B (there are also self-catering cottages on this working farm) which was wonderfully appointed, with every last detail considered to make it a home from home. The... More

From the moment we arrived for our two night stay we were welcomed and made to feel at home. The accommodation was warm and cosy throughout, the bedroom was very comfortable and the en suite facility excellent. The large lounge area was well furnished with comfortable chairs and couches, TV and plenty of books and magazines, plus supplementary heating in... More

We spent a very enjoyable couple of nights at Kellah Farm. Visitors from all over the world seem to find the place without difficulty, despite its 'out in the sticks' location. Like other reviewers we appreciated the warm welcome, the guest lounge and the fabulous breakfasts. We had one of the larger rooms which was exceptionally comfortable and very well... More

Glad to have discovered this gem of a place in the Northumberland end of the North Pennines while returning to the North East from a short break in the Lake District. And what a joy to find such first-class accommodation where obvious attention to every detail was geared towards guest comfort and enjoyment of this fine family farmhouse property. In... More

Tucked away in the middle of nowhere this little farm was a lovely B&B with spacious well appointed rooms with very nice ensuites. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent and we would love to stay again. Nice guest lounge, close to Hadrian's Wall and good country pubs not too far away for dinner.

I stayed at Kellah Farm while working in the area for a week. Katie and Lesley made me feel really at home, which was particularly nice as I was there on my own. It's great to stay on a working farm and get immersed in the country life (great escape from the city). I would recommend staying here for a... More

Myself and my fiance have stayed at the B&B a couple of times and the rooms are lovely, modern and clean. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding as is cooked by the owner and her daughter and you can have a full cooked breakfast with locally sourced meats for the sausage and bacon and free range eggs from the hens you... We loved Kellah farm. Our children loved participating in the life of a real working farm. Katie and Lesley are both delightful. Everything was wonderfully relaxed. Our room was pretty and immaculate, all very comfortable. We hope to come back!

We had a three night break at Kellah Farm and from the moment we arrived were made to feel welcome and relaxed. Lesley and Kate were helpful, friendly and attentive from the off and throughout our stay did extra little things (including helping to dry our walking socks!) to accommodate us. Our room was very comfortable and along with the... More
