Our family of almost 20 had a wonderful 3 days together. So nice to have a bathroom with each bedroom. The kitchen was well equip for making our own meals and the yard was beautiful! We loved the hike just outside our living room. What a workout! We ate a lot of meals in the covered area outside. The only downside to that was taking food and dished up and down the stairs but we had many helping hands. I highly recommend South Garden!

My family recently got together to celebrate my 60th birthday. We could not have gathered at a better place. First of all the grounds are amazing and so well kept and totally private. Listening to the sound of the waterfall as you soak in the hot tub after a sufficiently challenging hike up the hill to the view point and back (my 5 year old grandson did it no problem), you will know this is indeed a fabulous get away. The grounds are so huge, that the children may be playing in the sandbox by the swings while the more energetic are playing soccer while others are simply relaxing in the peaceful park like setting, all at the same time. Then there is that beautiful house which immediately feels like a 'home'. It is bright, spacious, and so well stocked and equipped, right down to the smallest detail. We all agreed we could not have hoped for anything more. The hostess is also very kind and though we did not see her all weekend, she did let us know she was available for any concerns or questions we might have. This place exceeded our expectations, I would highly recommend it.

We had a great time at this beautiful B & B. The yard was gorgeous which encouraged some beautiful family photos. The rooms were very nicely decorated and the hosts were very warm and welcoming! It never worked out for us but you could have hosted a very nice family barbeque on the grounds. The hike was very nice - a little challenging but very scenic.

I cannot speak highly enough of South Garden B & B. My husband and I had a wonderful refreshing two night stay in the Meadow Suite. Jacqui and John, our hosts, have a true gift in hospitality and have created a beautiful and tranquil retreat that is a continual feast for the senses. The suite's interior and the gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The bed in our suite was extremely comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom linens were spa-quality. The breakfast menu offered a limitless, wide choice of delicious food, omelette, waffles, fruit cups, yogurt and more, delivered to our room. Jacqui and John pay attention to every detail and their breakfast set us up for the whole day. In our two day stay, we enjoyed relaxing in our room, in the gorgeous garden and hot tub, and exploring the small trail behind the B&B which took us up to a viewing deck with a great view of the Harrison area. South Garden B&B is an excellent place to rest in and tour from and we plan to stay again. Thank you Jacqui and John.

A beautiful place to stay, the gardens are spectacular and we very much enjoyed the nature walk up to the deck and around the forest. The hottub was a real treat, and breakfast was spectacular. We plan to come and stay again. Thanks John & Jacquie!

My wife and I recently celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary at the South Garden B&B. They have a stand alone cottage which was amazing. King size bed, large soaker tub and every other amenity you can imagine including an incredible breakfast menu. The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and the service was much better than you would ever find at a five star hotel. Our hosts Jacquie and John Zuidhof are some of the friendliest and helpful people I have ever met. We have stayed at other B&B's in the past , but we can say without a doubt that the South Garden B&B is in a class by itself. We highly recommend this place. Norbert and Louise Hartig. My husband and I recently stayed at the South Garden B&B with friends whilst making our way to Banff National Park. Although we were interrupting a Father's Day celebration, we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome by our hosts. We stayed in the Sunflower Suite which was clean, spacious and delightfully furnished. The room also had its own private entrance right next to a lovely waterfall feature. Sadly a small thunderstorm prevented us from using the outdoor hot tub, however, we enjoyed a few glasses of wine under the heated gazebo in pretty garden surroundings. We had a comfortable and sound night's sleep and awoke to a beautifully presented breakfast of homemade waffles, muffins and fresh fruit. We would very much recommend the South Garden B&B for those intending to stay in Harrison Hot Springs.

The South Garden Bed and Breakfast was the perfect spot for our youth group retreat. We rented out the entire house as a vactaion rentalWe would recommend this location for anyone who wants to take a small group away for a weekend retreat. The rooms were amazing, great space for small group sessions inside and outside. It's beautifully decorated, clean, has a well equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed this location in Harrison as well – very close to the lake. The listing photos accurately reflect the rental’s appearance and amenities. The property was clean and very well-maintained. John + Jacquie were extremely helpful and accommodating. I would defiantly recommend this property to a friend or relative. We certainly enjoyed this location and would go back again in a heartbeat.

We stayed at South gardens B&B not expecting much as I thought it would be just like any other Bed and Breakfast. However we were taken by surprise at how fantastic the service was. The room was decorated beautifully. It was clean and well presented. The amenities in the room were better any any 4 diamond property. The breakfast was superb. Very kids friendly and the attention to detail was flawless. So peacful quiet and beautiful. We will be back for sure. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

We planned our weekend trip to Harrison Hot Spring with 2 families and chose South Garden Bed & Breakfast (Ceders cottage). It is conveniently located (less than 5 minute-drive from Harrison Hot Spring center) and place is so cute, peaceful with beautiful gardens around. The room is very clean and nicely decorated, and the outside has Jacuzzi, play area, water fall and beautiful garden to explore. It is well thoughts with very nice personal touch in the room and the outside. We spent the evening in the garden and had a camp fire which was one of the highlight of the trip. The owners, Jacquie and John are very friendly couple, and they were helpful and accommodated all our needs for our children and served very nice breakfast. Thank you!!! Both families are very pleased with the stay and had a great time. We definitely recommend to our friends and we will go back there again!!
