The "excuse me are you lost?" look we recieved on arrival was an instant turn off. The room was cold on arrival and smelt damp and mouldy. The towels may be 900gsm but also smelt mouldy and stale. Beautiful location, great restaurant with excellent service and food, attractive and spacious rooms and a delightful host. What it needs to make it into a perfect week end retreat is a guest lounge. The only other criticism is a lack of heating and attention to detail in the bathroom

Stayed for a Thursday night on the way to Melbourne. Great degustation dinner, excellent breakfast, congenial host and staff, relaxed ambience and top accommodation and grounds. And on top of that you will fall in love with the cat, Fellini. KeithH
