Overall enjoyed the stay , room was clean with essentials and host would respond when needed(booked through airbnb), only let down was the hosts of the other studios were not welcoming to us and were particularly rude on occasions , when we first tried to check in she was very rude saying we aren’t her guests and she can’t provide help to us in anyway as we aren’t staying in her rooms .It is understandable that we are not her guests but there is no harm in smiling and welcoming people . Both ladies (Patricia and ketsa ) made me and my fellow friends feel uncomfortable as they were so friendly to everyone else but us .After reading other reviews we have realised it isn’t just us that feel this way and action should be taken. Hotel to the right of whitepalace studios are lovely and very helpful, as they booked us a taxi to the port and stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out.

I and my husband chosen White Palace Studios for our Honeymoon. We wanted something simple but cozy, having good access to the city centre and beaches. This Studio is having all that and more. The owner and all staff were really friendly and easy to help with all the questions. Everyday we got so many good recommedations what to visit, where to eat, how to find one or another place and it really made our time much more relaxing and memorable. Thank you for champagne and chocolate, it really made our day!

Arrival - we arrived around midnight, maybe later. Reception was closed however there was a note for us that outlined how to access room, Wi-Fi code etc. All very clear and appreciated. Location - a bit further than the stated distance to the beach but it wasn’t too bad. Brilliant location for plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. There’s a supermarket next door - really well stocked. Pool - from memory had just 8 sunbeds along with a variety of tables and chairs. There were 2 days we couldn’t get sun loungers - no issue as we went next door, and they made us very welcome. It was nice also to have some company - it was busier than our place. Pool bar - this consisted of a fridge with a small selection of soft drinks, water and lager; and a shelf behind the small Reception desk with some bottles of spirits. I understand that of course the host wants clients to use the bar and not bring anything in to the pool, I do however think the range available needs to be increased. Room - ok this was beyond basic however exactly as advertised. There was a terrible mouldy / damp type smell really evident every time we entered the room however we must have gotten used to it as it wasn’t as obvious after a while. The toilet was really tiny but shower nice and powerful with warm water; the sink tap didn’t have cold water - not sure what that was about. It was in the main clean enough. I had said that my daughter and I were travelling so was surprised when our room had a small double bed and not 2 single beds that I seen in many of the nearby rooms. The bed was brilliant - really firm and very comfortable. Spare pillows also which was ideal. Lighting could have been better and there was only 2 power points. The power point was nowhere near the mirror to dry hair - I had to remove it from the wall to make it possible to see my hair whilst drying it. The hairdryer was brilliant though and saved us taking our own. We didn’t use any of the crockery / utensils etc however the very few things that were there weren’t ‘a set’ - all a but disjointed and of varying quality / age. Plenty of storage space - drawers, hangers wardrobe space etc. Cleaning - we were there Monday from around midnight to Friday around 8pm albeit we paid to keep the room until the Saturday. The cleaner was in twice that we could see. Fresh Towels once and bed changed once (well the bottom sheet was changed, top sheets were left for us to do ourselves) - for a 5 night rental I’d expect more. Overall - the host was helpful in that she arranged private transfers for us to / from airport. She didn’t take any deposit in advance - we were travelling within a week or so of booking. She was also very responsive when I asked questions via whatsapp which I appreciated. I did sense some tension between herself and the host next door and while I’m sure it’ll Be put down to a joke / banter, there were comments made about us going to their pool on occasion (despite nothing being available at ours) - I wasn’t bothered but it’s not ideal to suspect that we are perhaps being made to feel bad / guilty by our holiday host. I was also very surprised that not once were we asked if the room / everything was ok - only on departure did one member of staff say ‘I hope you enjoyed your stay’. Typically one would check in with guests about this well before they left, this despite us sharing many a conversation. The host welcomed people from outwith the accommodation to use the pool area and obviously was keen that they used the bar facilities. I was on that basis surprised that Wi-Fi was only available to staying guests and not provided to those she welcomed to use the pool - not sure why that would be the case. Value for money - I’ve really no idea if it was value in terms of comparison with nearby accommodation. We were happy with what we paid for it.

The room was extremely clean and the pool was lovely although we didn't spend a lot of time as we went to the beach each day. Ketsa was super welcoming and friendly and so helpful. She even arranged our transfers to and from the airport which were perfect. Location was a little further out from the town, maybe a mile to the beach, but that was fine for us as we were happy to walk.

We really loved our stay here! Ketsa is the best host you can have. Very friendly, helpful. The best tips for sightseeing, restaurants and everything else you need. The rooms are very clean and the size is perfect. White Palace is at a perfect location if you rent a car. Almost every tourist spot is within a 30min drive. Thank you so much for everything Ketsa! Hopefully see you soon :) Love Nitesh & Saressa Please note, this is NOT White Palace Pavlos, but White Palace Studios

Teo smith you have a lack and problem of education...since nobody told you that civilized people do respect other people's opinion and don't offend those who don't share their's...Or...maybe do you need some attention ??::))).And the prove that things are not as you described is the last review, wrote by Mike...1 km in hot days, for people who are not running to the see, just walking, takes around 15-20 min.

Spent a week with my girlfriend here. Regarding the previous review from Beatrice I can only say that she is talking nonsense. You pay for a 3 star hotel and you get a 3 star hotel. Beach is like a 10 min walk, rooms are cleaned daily, there is a clean pool, breakfast is good the owner and the staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel over hotel Tsampika (where it is very loud because they have greek nights) and villa georges. If we would return to Rhodos we will definitely stay here.
