We stayed in the suite (no 6) and had nice little living room as well as a bedroom. The view from the terrace and pool of Tuscany takes your breath away. Stunning. The kind man behind the desk (with the white hair) is the owner and speaks good english and looks after any need you have. A small boutique hotel...

We were greeted byte front desk staff and settled in quickly. The garden is small but delightful and the rooms are all you could need.

We stayed for 5 wonderful nights here and were treated very well. You can sometimes hear noises in neighboring rooms, but it wasn't horrible. We're hoping to return soon!

I had a wonderful visit in Montalcino, staying at Hotel Vecchia Oliviera. I was warmly welcomed by the gracious staff members, who always went out of their way to help me with anything they could. I felt very safe and secure, as if visiting family. Gratzie!

This hotel and it's customer service is wonderful. It more than worth the price (they could seriously charge...

The Hotel Vecchia Oliviera in Montalcino is a great place to base yourself for exploring this area. The service was phenomenal, the price and location were great, nice breakfast, great back patio for drinking wine in the sun, really recommended for this price range. Day trips from here to Montepulciano, Pienza, S Quirico, Siena, etc were all extremely easy. Our...

This is a wonderful hotel on the edge of Montalcino--perfectly located to both enjoy the town and head out for wine tasting at the local wineries. The front desk staff are so helpful (making reservations for us at wineries, lending us a corkscrew, making restaurant recommendations) and spoke perfect English. The rooms are so quaint and the maids cleaned our...
