A freezing february and wet weather for Braodstairs BluesBash but the sea view in the (sunny) morning was very welcome, as was the excellent breakfast. Had to turn off the gurgling central heating during the night, as we got too warm (strangely), but a very comfy king size double.

Margaret and the girls make you feel at home as soon as you step through the door.I took my wife to the baytree to recuperate from a tonsillectomy just a few days after her op.and margaret prepared and cooked the food just the way my wife required it' this along with the jugs of iced water supplied whenever required helped... We have stayed at the Bay Tree for three years running now at the end of Folk Week and it is a thoroughly good experience. The Bay Tree is clean and tidy the food is good and the owners are very friendly. The residence position is very good for views of the sea and a short walk into town.

The Bay Tree is well located with beautiful sea views. It is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and reasonably priced. Margaret and her lovely team of ladies are absolutely delightful and caring. Highly recommended.

In agreement with the last review. The hosts work very hard to make your stay comfortable with an excellent breakfast and the hotel is in an excellent location, however, we also had room 8 and in all of our travels both in the UK and overseas this has by far the smallest shower room / toilet that you can imagine....
