We stayed 1st January and the owner could not have been more helpfull. The pictures of the rooms on the site do not do it justice. The room was spotless, very comfortable and I would highly recommend it, More

Visited on the 11th December 2011 for one night prior to catching ferry in the morning to Belfast. Easy location to find, very pleasantly surprised from the moment we entered the reception to the following morning when we left. We spend a lot of time in hotels in the UK & Abroad, this matched hotels at double the price, nothing... More

After a long travel day, we arrived in Cairnryan to catch the ferry to northern Ireland in am. From the moment we pulled into the parking, we were greeted by our gracious host. We were two couples travelling from Canada and found the host absolutely gracious and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and we enjoyed the suite at... More

This is a great hotel - the accommodation is excellent as is the food (what a fantastic breakfast!) and the customer service is second to none. Highly recommended. More

We arrived on a cold and wet August afternoon and found the welcome very warm and friendly. Our room had everything one needs and more. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Noise from the busy road was minimal at the back of the hotel. Advice was on hand from the owners about places to eat locally and... More

Driven past this B&B many times as we holidayed on the Aryshire coast but never had reason to stay: more's the pity. However, recently needing a one night stay nearby to the Cairnryan ferry we made a booking and were not disappointed! It started well when getting a chatty John on the phone and then receiving a personalised e-mail booking... More

We don't normally stay at B&B hotels, but this one must be an exception to any such rule. We felt privileged to be guests and in a South West Scotland touring holiday this was the second best value for money. Why second? Because the proprietors would rather have a half empty property than discount to fill the place. Little details.... More

We were looking for somewhere to stay for one night before catching the ferry to Ireland. I found this on the internet and booked it for its proximity to the ferry terminal. We were not disappointed, absolutely loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was lovely and well appointed with very comfy beds. Breakfast was included... More

In need of a place to stay overnight before a morning ferry crossing from Cairnryan, I found Rhins of Galloway online. Intrigued by a reasonably priced guesthouse with uniformly glowing reviews, I booked it, and I was not disappointed. I can give feedback on two of the guestrooms, since my parents were also staying there and had a double room... More
