All round just about perfect. We arrived wet and tired. The drying room was needed, as was the bar and the meal and the excellent bedroom. All round an excellent B&B that we will return to.

This is an ex-pub, which still has a nice bar-like atmosphere to it. Run by a nice couple who kept us entertained with friendly banter and served us very nice home-cooked food. They even collected us from a couple of miles away, and made us a nice packed-lunch for our departure. Rooms were clean and well equipped.

We had walked nearly 20 miles from Monmouth, through all sorts of weather, when we arrived tired and bedraggled at the guest-house. A friendly welcome and a refreshing real ale started the recovery process.
