We travelled as two couples and stayed for 4 nights in Villa Pwani 2 bedroom Villa at Kikadini, in Jambiani village after our 5 day Tanzanian Safari. It was the perfect way to end our Tanzanian adventure - relaxing by the seaside, with the ultimate in service and high quality food on a beautiful property catering only to 12 people... More

We were a group of 3 couples who travelled to Tanzania for 10 days and Zanzibar was our last stop. Kikadini Villa is on the East Coast of Zanzibar in Jambiani and is about a 60-75min drive from the airport. This has 3 villas, and we stayed in Villa Palm which had three bedrooms, one on the ground floor and... More

We were three couples, so we had a lovely, separate, 3-bedroom villa to ourselves. Each room has large double bed, own bathroom, airconditioning, ceiling fan. The three bedroom villa also has its own roof terrace with plenty of shade for lazing, reading, taking advantage of the sea breeze, or looking at the stars (spectacular!). The stairs are challenging in the... More

Hopefully the title gives you an indication of my thoughts about our recent stay at Kikadini Villas but to clarify exactly why I would recommend this unique 'hotel' to anyone thinking of staying in Jambiani I've included further details below: 1) Location:- Jambiani is in the south-east of Zanzibar (about an hour's drive from Stone Town & the airport) Kikadini... We stayed at Kikadini at the end of our honeymoon-- after having spent 10 days on Safari in Kenya. We were looking to have a luxurious, relaxing time in Zanzibar to cap off the trip. We definitely found that at Kikadini! We had researched 5 or 6 places in Zanzibar, and ultimately we settled on Kikadini and we're happy we... More

To me this is a uber-stylish boutique in every sense of the word. The decor and design embrace the best of Arabic and Morroccan style architectures. The attention to detail is superb and no corners have been cut. You wont get Swahili style bandas here or any commercial resort type accommodation and facilities. This is a place for the discerning,... More

I enjoyed any minute of my stay in this boutique hotel. The villas offer very large and comfortable rooms nicely decorated. The staff is kind and gentle. The food is amazing (in particular the exquisite Thai food, the lamb and the home made bread). The new management is as efficient as generous. A great thanks to Jeremie, Kity, Sisil and... More

Kikadini Villas is an absolute stunning boutique hotel located at the east coast of Zanzibar. The hotel has been closed for a short period but has now reopened with a new management in place. We were six friends travelling together and had the pleasure of being the first guests after the reopening. The stay was an unforgettable experience with an... More

As I was planning a stay for a group of four in Zanzibar after climbing Kilimanjaro, I thought Kikadini was an ideal find. Unfortunately, it has become a traveler’s nightmare. I contacted Kikadini four months before our planned stay, provided my credit card number and received a written confirmation. When another friend wanted to join us at the hotel, they... More
