As others have noted, there is some confusion on hotel booking sites about the star rating of this hotel. The Aquamarina is a good hotel and, when compared to some of the 4 star hotels in Santa Susanna, certainly deserves a fourth star - particularly now that the spa is open. The professional photographs flatter this hotel, they make the pool look enormous, and the actual building look pristine, It needs an exterior refurb badly. If you are booking a 3* hotel then this is quite good - however, Travel Republic sold is as a 4* hotel which it is not! Good points - rooms very clean and cleaned daily. Staff were all excellent. Food was good for a 3 or is it a 4 star ?. Bars were all pleasant. We loved the game of Spanish Bingo .... Caraumba - Ole' hahahaha :) Not many British there when we were there, a lot of Dutch, Germans and Scandinavians.

Just come back from staying here for 5 days with my young family, lovely clean hotel and friendly staff. Rooms large enough and cleaned every day.
