Me, my wife and a bunch of friends stayed in Posada Margarita for a week. It was great. The place has everything. Want to party - go to beach (5 min). Want peace and quiet next day - spend a day in hammock. Loved the French toast and omelet with broccoli (thou this one is for special occasions only :)

I found out about posada margarita online, we were looking for an inexpensive place to spend 3 weeks while we kitesurfed in el yaque. this was the perfect place for us, exactly what we were looking for. Miguel and his family were really friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. the posada itself is simply beautiful, flowers everywhere.

We stayed at posada for a week. It was the best place we could stay at. Clean rooms, a balcony with hammocks, perfect location (just 5 min walk to the beach and to the main street with shops and bars), beautiful views, and the most friendly dogs in the world Zac and Tigra :) We felt like at home there.... Miguel has created a great place to stay. It was quiet, clean, comfortable a two minute walk to the beach and the breakfast is outstanding for the value.
