Comfortable, attractive, spacious and spotless chalet made for a lovely two day stay. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful, providing excellent advice on eating places and information on local walks, which start very nearby. Lovely garden area perfect for children, while chalets positioned so very private feel. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay here, and would go again myself.

Awesome motel. Friendly helpful staff who found accommodation fir our friends too despite the whole town being full...Gorgeous detached family chalet rooms off a forest area with lovely garden, bbq and fab playground to boot. Will keep coming back now we have found this hidden gem!

Stayed at Forest Peak Motel at Labour weekend and found standards up to and beyond the previous owners. A few improvements i.e. new television, electrical appliances etc. It is the best motel in Hanmer as away from the noise and bustle of the town but close enough to walk within 5 - 10 minutes.

A warm and friendly greeting upon arrival by the new owners. Being a 5 minute walk from town, this is a super quiet location if you want a great nights sleep. Very comfortable and well-equipped. Staff were great!
