I had booked a Delux Bungalow through Agoda. Upon arrival I decided to check out the Premier rooms around the pool. I settled for the bungalow 808 of solid brick construction and has a rainforest view. It's only a short walk to the pool. The beach is a five minute stroll away as is the restaurant. Breakfast overlooking the sea... More

I can hardly believe that this place has such a low overall rating. We LOVED Sai Kaew Beach Resort! Stayed in the older part of the resort which has more charm and privacy although the newer part offers definitely more luxury (but feels more like staying at a residential appartment than a hotel I guess). The concept to have the... More

My first time in sai knew beach resort. It's like boracay in Philippines. Have white sand. But my families friend been here 7years ago, same resort and hotel. They said a lot of things changed now. He said they make it modern. But the beach is not really clean, unlike before that the water was clear. Maybe because there's a... More

Our first time to Koh Samet many times to Thailand. The place is quiet which is what we wanted. For what we paid for I expected more. We were in the premier room overlooking one of the pools which was nice and big but the linen had not been changed and a bloodstain was found on the pillowcase not exactly... More

Been to Koh Samet 12 years ago, it hasn't changed much, which is good. Only difference are the few "5 stars" resorts. Travelling now with family, we decided to choose one of these. Good location on the main beach, giving access to all the very nice / good / very affordable beach restaurants. We took a Premier Bedroom (one of... More

This is our second visit to his hotel and in comparison to our stay last year, we did not enjoy it as much. This visit, we found the staff to be less helpful, possibly due to the high turnover of guests as most visitors seem to only stay for 2-3 days (we stayed for a week). Our premier room was... More

We booked last minute during a very busy time of the year. The hotel was lovely. We stayed in the premiere rooms by the pool. The hotel is nicely designed and made to feel smaller than it actually is. There are a number of different pools for the different types of accommodations so it didn't feel too crowded despite being... More

We enjoyed our Stay at Sai Kaew beach resort during the Songkran (Thai New Year) weekend. It was our first visit to Koh Samed. Stayed in the Deluxe Cottages in the old part of the resort. The cottages were clean, well maintained. The area of the resort is a little bit unusual because there are roads crossing near the entrance... More

This is a high quality resort compared to other hotels on Koh Samet. It's more expensive but wourth the price difference. The facility has free wifi, but this works best i the lobby area and the new flats by the trainingcentre. The staff is polite and friendly, but missing towels, toilettpaper and coffie-bags gives a minus on the service score.... More
