just returned from week at the Dom joao .we found staff very help full, hotel and bed room very clean,out side grounds kept well the hotel is well located for lovely beach.evert morning we found breakfast lovely plenty of fresh fruit. We will go back for another stay.

Well located b&b for the golf . Clean room . Bad breakfast , overpriced bar @ 4 £ a pint , considering its only 1£ a pint in the cactus bar with good entertainment . Lovely restaurants in alvor ,all in 3star hotel with 5 star prices .

We are return visitors to this hotel, we travelled with a toddler. This hotel is not very suitable for toddlers, a lot of steps.
