We stayed two weeks and could have easily extended. The house is comfortably furnished and in the perfect location for the lake and village . Near by are very good places to eat and drink but it still maintains a rural traditional Italian feel . The three bedrooms are roomy and plenty of storage . The hosts supplied lots of fresh linen and the kitchen had all mod gadgets. Across the road is a small vegetable farm to purchase produce fresh six days a week . Would recommend for family or group .

11 of us hired the whole property for a week. Superb villa with breath taking views. Not far from salo by car where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. 1hr 15mins from begamo airport. We only ventured out a couple of days as kids and adults happy to stay by the pool. Pool and grounds immaculate. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to visit again.

The property is a bit challenging to find, and is is slightly off where Google Maps tells you, but once you are there, you will not need a car, as Salvador will graciously drive you everywhere, while your car enjoys a safe and secure parking spot. This was a SPECTACULAR EXPERIENCE for our stay in Pompeii. Salvadore, the delightful sweetheart owner who TREATED US LIKE FAMILY-- lovingly restored his charming estate into a beautiful and comfortable gated and secure B&B. He made a Roman-style stone-surrounded, very comfortable LARGE bathroom with good storage. There is GORGEOUS WOOD AND STONE everywhere, including doors. The grounds are meticulous, exquisite and unique. He made a delicious breakfast including AMAZING made-to-order eggs, and always had DECADENT croissants fresh out of the oven, as well as a variety of other choices every day. Most important, he provided us with FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE to ALL areas around town at our request, and drove us to Sorrento and other farther places very reasonably-- that MADE our trip so easy. He had an excellent family-owned dinner restaurant choice "Pizza and Pasta," in town, which we ate at 3 times (sweet, friendly staff who brought us champagne and other special treats to our table!). Their pizza and fresh pastas are to die for! Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Pompei.

It is our last day at Villa Luna. I woke up early and decided to write a review now rather than waiting to get back home and then forget. Villa Luna is fantastic. We are a family of 11 (ages 12-71). The view every morning and evening from the Villa is worth the trip. The pool is large, the pool furniture is high end and comfortable, we played volley ball one evening, cooked meals and ate of the terrace with the amazing view. Cristina, her husband and family are fantastic. We requested breakfast the first morning to make it easier on the group for the first day and it was fantastic. Cristina provide amazing breakfast cake that she made herself. She assisted with a local Dr. for one of the kids who got an ear infections, even providing ear drops until we could get to the Dr's office, assited with resturant ideas and boat rentals. Great memories were made in an amazing place We would come back again.

We had the best summer ever as a family of five in Villa Luna and I went back to stay in April 2015 on another business trip so i could share the warm Italian hospitality and spectacular views with my University colleagues. Christina and Luciano really are the hosts with the most. The villa is in stunning location, breathtaking views, beautifully manicured gardens, wonderful pool, exceptionally well finished and clean villa - everything was bellisima. Can't wait to go back :)))))

The view over Lake Garda is absolutely incredible and the villa itself is lovely with a wonderful pool! Christina and Luciano were the most welcoming and hospitable people imaginable and taught us some invaluable Italian phrases along with sharing some baking skills. They made the whole holiday so special and I wish the week didn't have to end.

We can only recommed this place very much. The pool, the breakfast, the rooms and the family are awesome! The way up to the place is quite tricky but when you are there everything makes sense. Cristina gives you very good tips for the area. She even thought about the gluten allergy of my gf. Thanks a lot, we are coming back! Marko + Anne
