Rustic hotel which was worth finding near to the monastery in poblet. Could only stay one night but would have loved to stay longer as the staff, rooms and food were the best we've had since we arrived in Spain. Couldn't say enough about the place. Definitely stay for at least one night and enjoy the incredible food.

This 'silence hotel' is worth its name; no traffic at all and beautiful sunset and sunrise. Some of the neighbouring hotels were closed for the winter. We have been three times there to spend 3 day stay, they have a good offer - sleep, breakfast and dinner - and it is really worth. Last time we went with our little daughter, and they helped us with everything, bed, and so on. This year they have swimming pool - it is the one of the hotel next... More

We stayed at Masia del Cadet for five nights. The location is perfect for visiting the often-neglected SW corner of Catalonia, home of vineyards and Romanesque architecture. Although the hotel is out in the country, it's an easy drive to Tarragona, to beautiful monasteries of the Cistertian order and medieval hill towns. There are lots of hiking trails as well.... More

This is a wonderful country retreat. Somewhat difficult to find but well worth the trouble. The only problem is that rooms are not air conditioned and even in the hills of Spain this can be a problem in the summer. Family-run, and early breakfasts not available. Restaurant is good, not outstanding.
