Been here for vacation with my family. We hired a self-catering cottage for a week. The cottage was on 2 floors, very wide, very comfortable. 3 bedrooms, one bathrooms, a wide kitchen, barbecue. There's a swimming pool too and a lot of free parking. Free wifi in the lounge. The best choice around Cawsand.

As a couple, we were a bit apprehensive about this place being over run with wild children and boisterous dogs, but we needn't have worried. The house is where the B and B is based, with the self catering bits being separate, so we found the house and in fact the whole site, very quiet. We received a warm welcome... More

We had our wedding at Wringford Down Hotel. All of our family was able to stay in the different cottages over the weekend of the wedding. We were able to decorate the venue with our home made bunting which looked great. Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Sue and Andrew at Wringford made sure everything... Would highly recommend Wringford Down! We have just returned from staying a week in the Sharrow Bunglow. When we entered the bungalow the smell of cleanliness hit us. The bungalow was very spacious, extremely clean and very well equiped. It was surrounded by beautiful views and lots of nice walks for the dogs. The owners welcomed us and then left... More

Stayed here as a family break with parents, my sister andher partner and myself husband and 2 young children. This place has so much potential and with a bit of effort and attention to detail could be fantastic - less is more lots of toys for the kids, but many were old nd broken, would have much prefered fewer but... I recently travelled with my extended family (10 of us) in a hired vehicle (the family fun bus) to attend a wedding at the beautiful location of Mount Edgcumbe House in this area of outstanding natural beauty. We booked the Sharrow Bungalow at Wringford Down for the weekend but could only stay for 2 days out of the 3 included... More

We have just come back from a lovely holiday staying in the sharrow bungalow at Wringford Down. The accomodation was modern and well equiped, we have 4 children and i have to say the facilities were endless for them, they were entertained the whole time we were there. There was also a large play barn which my 1 year old enjoyed... I have no comment about the accommodation which I'm sure would be fine. My warning to others is simply about their payment system. As with most B&Bs they ask for a deposit, but they also ask for full payment *before* you even arrive! In my case, I booked for 4 nights, but suddenly found I needed to cancel, so I... More

No sympathy I'm afraid - I have never booked a holiday anywhere in the world and expected to be able to get my deposit back. We charge a 20% non-refundable deposit which is absolutely normal for B&Bs in the UK (many charge more). Try telling the airline or car hire company that you want your money back. Sensible folk take... More

We have just returned from five glorious days, staying at Wringford Lodge, in the grounds of the farmhouse. I can't fault the place. Fabulous location - you just walk to the entrance of the farm and are met with a fabulous view of Cawsand Bay. Everywhere you look there are beautiful views and I loved the fact we could walk... I had a very enjoyable stay at Wringford down for the gloriously sunny bank holiday weekend in August. Four of us stayed in one of the onsite caravans, it was fully equipped, clean and well functioning. However you need to know who you are staying with well, as caravans do not have thick walls! The views were outstanding and it... More
