Was told about the Pleasant Vally Motel by so new friends we met on our fishing trip this September/October. Great spot to stay in Houston. Pleasant staff, nice rooms, and a decent restaurant right next door. Good breakfast served early so ya can get on the water.

I stayed in this motel in may 2012. Staff was very friendly...Rooms are clean,lcomfy bed...room service was very good and i liked the food of adjoined restaurant......Internet speed was very good...rates are reasonable....

Very friendly staff who were willing to have a chat and help me with any questions. Nice little restaurant, fantastic value-for-money (great rates). Clean, cozy and comfortable... Slept like a baby! Will easily stay here again when passing through Houston.

motel was very clean internet was ok.staff was very friendly I was not feeling good . One employee bring food to my room and wash my laundry.aAnd did not charge me RAte is very reasonable. motel put ashtray outside rooms.MY bed was very comfortable

Broken down car in parking lot. Torn and broken chairs outside rooms. Wires hanging out of ceiling where smoke detector should be. Brown water out of pipes (this was explained as "they are flushing the pipes"). Internet up and down constantly. I'm told the restaurant is great buy I couldn't wait to get away so I didn't try eating.

As we were traveling to Whitehorse, Houston was just one stop on our way. I was concerned with possible summer rates so was pleasantly surprised to find that $78.40 covered the cost of the room, taxes included. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. A plus was the "Pleasant Valley" restaurant on the same site. The food was good... More

Non-smoking room, but still had pungent cigarette smell. Room was a bit warm, and only cooling was a floor fan that came with the room. But the electrical outlet in the wall by the door and window was cracked and not useable. We had to use the fan at the far end of the room to just circulate the air.... More

I found this motel to be a great place to stay. Rooms were nice and comfortable, housekeepers were very friendly and the front desk receptionist was very accommodating and friendly. Would definatley stay here again!
