This place is a little gem with bags if character. The owners were extremely welcoming. The room was a good size, very clean with everything you'd need. Breakfast was lovely. The cottage itself is charming and there are beautiful chickens in the garden. I highly recommend staying here.

They certainly got the basics right - good sized clean room, hot water, comfortable bed, warm(ish) room (but see below), well cooked breakfast (but see below). The Maplestone B&B was a lovely building. Gill and Donald are fantastic hosts and run the B&B brilliantly. The room was perfect, warm, clean and comfy. I would definitely be going back there in the future.
