We stayed the night before our holiday and used the hotels parking. The hotel is a handy 5 min walk over to the airport and as the car is parked on site it's easy to get to on the return. The hotel is getting rather shabby but was cheap.

Once again we chose the Britannia for our overnight stop/15day park. We asked for 2 single beds this time, as the doubles are small & uncomfortable. The rooms need refurbishing and the old tv needs binning. The evening meal was good, staff were all brilliant. I visited Newcastle for the Maker Faire and needed a bed for Saturday night. The Britannia is a short walk across the Airport car park and is clean, comfortable, friendly and reasonably priced.
