The aged building make you think twice as you drive in however the rooms are spotless and very well maintained. We had two nights at the Tourist Court over Easter. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. Spent the night of Dez. 25th 2012 at this motel, because we failed in making a reservation at a B&B in Whakatane. It´s situated far away from central Whakatane and right on a busy main road, therefore quite noisy.. Rooms are o.k., but will need some refurnishment. The Tourist Court Motel is out of the centre of Whakatane but an easy, enjoyable walk into the centre by the river. The motel owner was extremely pleasant and helpful, the accommodation of good size with everything required for a short or a long stay. Thank you for your review. We are pleased you enjoyed the facilities we had to offer. We have sold this business but the new owners will look after all future guests just like we did. We are moving to a bigger motel in Tauranga - Academy Motor Inn. More
