The hotel is very old and the rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly we stayed here for 1night while walking the west highland way. The food was very good I liked the fact that it not a modern hotel. The overall experience was excellent.

We only spent a night here having chosen to do just half of the WHW. It's well past it's best and could do with some updating but it was comfortable and the food wasn't bad at all. My tip to the owners is spend some money on refurbishment. Then it would be a really special experience.
