Website way out of date, including prices. We stayed in a 'refurbished unit', that was in need of refurbishment.. Drab and washed out looking. Totally disastrous. Had booked (and paid) for a motel room at this location for 2 nights (the day before and the night following the Tongariro Crossing day long hike) and we could barely get a nights rest.... rooms had terrible smell of smoke although no signs of cigarettes you can tell the smell was just part of this very tired... good value, clean, quiet and friendly staff. what more would you ask for? i would return and i would reccomend it to a friend or anyone else just looking for somewhere to camp for a few nights.
