The location of this hotel is its unique selling point. It is on the cliffs above Ravenscar with views towards Robin Hood's Bay. Viisited the hotel on a 2 night break.The receptionist was very friendly and helpful as were the other bar and restaurant staff.Ate dinner at the hotel on the first night.The meal was nice, with a limited menu, but could have been hotter, the wine was fine but overpriced. We were given a voucher as a present for this hotel. When we booked we found staying in a lodge with breakfast was cheaper than not having breakfast. This is a great description for a stay in one of our lodges and the guest clearly enjoyed the independance and facilities and of course the stunning views!
