Stopped for lunch at this pub on my way through to Holyhead.There was so much atmospher here on a cold day with a warm fire.It was like walking into Aunt Bessy's place for a roast lunch. Turned up on sat eve staff very friendly. Food was very good typical pub food but the homemade pies were great. Definitely better food than brynafon hotel and cheaper better atmosphere to. Never been before but would go again better than a lot of gastropubs. Don't know about accomadation.as we didn't stay there.

Stopped off for sunday lunch today. Superb. Beautiful beef, melt in the mouth. Fresh veggies, buttery mash and proper gravy. Reasonably priced, quick and friendly service. Will definately call again!

I stayed here with my husband and we had a lovely time. We walked into a roaring log fire and a busy pub. We were welcomed personally by the manager Claire and shown to our accomodation which was simple but clean and comfortable.
