Our food was delicious on the lunch lite bite menu. It's a lovely hotel with character and friendly staff .... Well worth a visit. We saw the afternoon tea set out so that's another excuse to return to this lovely place

My partner and I stayed here following a Groupon purchase. There seems to be a bit of a theme with Groupon deals (I guess successful establishments don't need to draw in customers via deals). On first impression we were pleasantly surprised - the location is brilliant, and the welcome was friendly and professional. We chose to upgrade to a four... More

We stopped here on the way to Bosworth Visitor Centre, having passed the hotel at lunchtime we thought we would call in and eat first before carrying on with our journey. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad and my husband had the Salmon Bagel. We ate outside as it was a beautiful hot day, the Caesar Salad was the best... More

Just returned from a trip to the midlands to see the historic battlefield site. What a picturesque area. We stopped at the royal arms on the way back to Leicester from the battlefield on Monday and the place was packed. We waited 10 mins for our table and my was it worth the wait! We ate from the lunchtime light... More

Booked a meal here as we had been here for Mother's Day and it was a very nice experience. Took daughter and son in law and thanks to the staff it was well worth it. However, having said that, I have to say that the kitchen needs to catch up. We ordered and my wife ordered the pea soup starter... More

We stopped one night on a groupon deal which was good value. We booked in order to breakup a journey from Dorset back to our home in Lancashire and to allow us to visit Twycross Zoo. The welcome was fine and the room (no.5) was very spacious, however as another reviewer has said, the Hotel Inspector would have a field... More

The Hotel is situated a couple of miles from Bosworth and in a great location. We experienced a very friendly reception and checked in. The room we stayed in was number 4 in the converted stable block. The room was clean but like the shower room requires updating. The bed was spring mattress and very uncomfortable so we did not... We stayed here for 1 night on a groupon deal. We were allocated room 3 which is a standard double. The room itself was clean and well presented but was slightly dated. The en suite shower room was a good size but again was in need of modernisation. The pub and restaurant area are lovely and the staff were very... More
