We have stayed at Quinta Don Jose quite a number of times and have always enjoyed the hospitality and and outstanding staff. It is located in the center of one of the most picturest areas of Guadalajara. We can recommend it highly, but don't fill it up too often as we want to always be able to get a room.

QDJ is in a decent area about 4 blocks from the heart of Tlaquepaque - close to great dining (for non-vegetarians) and good shopping and some interesting history. The hotel is small and clean. This is our second visit to Tlaquepaque and staying at the Quinta Don Jose. The hotel, grounds and for ate beautiful. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Great location to the shops and markets of Tlaquepaque.

This is a great place to stay in Tlaquepaque. Short walk to the markets. The place is charming, spacious, and clean. Great breakfast and happy hour. Friendly, informative staff willing to meet any need/question you might have. Pool could have been warmer.

Spent a nice weekend seeing the sights, window shopping & enjoying the local bnar/restaurants. The hotel was clean comfortable & most important very friendly.
