Amazing location and outstanding accommodation and meals although $60 for a bottle of wine took the shine off. Sitting on the deck with our pre-dinner snacks watching the sunset was amazing and well worth the visit. A real top class luxury lodge.

The charming hosts of this luxury lodge provide a first class package of comfort, style and delicious food using produce locally sourced or from their own garden. Their selection of local wines is excellent. Sitting on the deck with drinks and pre dinner snacks while we watched the sun set was a great way to end a busy day.

Kokonga Lodge is just a few metres off the Otago Rail Trail looking out towards the spectacular Kakanui mountain range.
