We had a great weekend here with great hosts. Room was lovely and breakfast was a treat. We felt very relaxed and unhurried. The gardens were lovely and there was a treat at the bottom of the garden with the chickens and goats! Probably the best behaved and quiet chickens and goats I have ever seen. Will be back. Thanks... Stayed 2 nights and had a perfect stay. Tim and Nigel are excellent hosts, the rooms are well appointed and the breakfast is very tasty indeed - all locally sourced, in fact the eggs and the jam from the beautiful garden. What more can I say? I highly recommend you go and experience it for yourself.

We stayed at School Cottages the night before a visit to Bath. Our welcome was a warm one with tea, coffee and biscuits served in the sunny conservatory which overlooks the incredibly well tended, and verdant, gardens. Our room was extremely well presented and it, together with the adjoining bathroom, was spotlessly clean with fresh looking decoration and soft furnishings... More

We had booked School Cottage B&B for one night, but decided to stay for two and very glad we did. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome by Nigel who showed us to our well appointed room with en-suite. We were then offered tea and biscuits in the conservatory and after a long drive it was just the pick... More

Arrived Wednesday afternoon and welcomed by Tim who shown my wife and I around the grounds and cottage. School Cottages was recommended as a 350 odd mile journey breaker to Carbis Bay in Cornwall from West Lancashire by our daughter and son in law who had previously stayed there. Superb accommodation in very comfortable room with brilliant en suite. Relaxed... More

We recently had a lovely two day stay at School Cottages. We were met by Tim on our arrival and made very welcome, as was the pot of tea and biscuits he supplied and served in the lovely conservatory . The bedroom and en-suite were well appointed, very clean and comfortable – especially the king size bed. The breakfast menu... More

Lovely rooms with thoughtful touches as well as all the usual facilities. A great location for travelling - close to Bath, Bristol and the Somerset countryside. Really lovely breakfasts (with largely locally sourced ingredients) and a good choice. Very well run by Tim who is always able to give advice/help regarding the locality - what's on, where to eat, etc.... More

School Cottages is a truly superb Bed and Breakfast. We stayed there during the early May bank holiday and our experience was just fabulous. Tim (the host) was very welcoming, we've been served tea and biscuits upon arrival. The room was spotless, everything in order, super clean and very tidy. A three course breakfast was truly delicious with organic, local... More

School cottages is a very pretty B&B with a great mix of character features but restored to have a more contemporary feel on the inside. I stayed at the B&B for several days whilst on a course in Farmborough. I had a double en-suite room which was beautifully decorated with a lovely modern bathroom and great powerful shower. My room... More

We needed a little break away from the city me and my partner three weeks before our wedding. We had a very warm welcome from Tim who offered us a nice cup of tea in the lounge after showing us our room. The whole cottage was extremely clean and the outdoor space was beautifully looked after. In the morning Tim... More
