We recently visited Tangalooma with our 8 year old daughter who is gluten intolerant. Travelling can be a challenge, and she often feels like she is missing out. On our first day, I received a call from the Operations Manager to talk through her dietary options, which was very much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble, and the teams willingness... More

Half way through my stay and not impressed so far. First impressions were good, grounds are neat and tidy but some drainage issues meant having to walk through puddles to get to room. Location is great, staff are friendly and rooms are spacious, that's where the positives end. The room were staying in (d block) is old and in need... More

We also wentsand tobaggoning ona tour within the interior of the island wich was fun. The only drawback was the amount of rude Chinese tourists. Other than that it was a great day... More

I recently returned from one weeks holiday at Tangalooma resort. I had been there before but it was terrible weather conditions so I decided to go back and get the 'proper' experience. I was massively disapointed. The staff were ALL so rude and arrogant. From the moment we stepped off the boat to the moment we got on the boat... More

Front desk officer, Rizwana, muttered a rude comment when she saw our luggages before greeting us with the standard smile. She was not helpful at all when I asked if we could use their buggy for our friends stranded halfway to the reception. Signages on the resort were useless. Extra bath towels were $5 each. Room for 4pax was spacious,... More

A bit old style resort especially when it comes to the dinner area as several points out here, but ... there is a big but ... the location and activities are really outstanding. With skilled eco ranger and skipper we explored the shallow areas along Moreton Island and experienced Dugongs, several different turtles, dolphins and big rays in addition to... More

This island resort is only about 3 hrs from Sydney and about 1 hr from Brisbane and for value, service and beauty it can't be beat. To start with, we had a nice couple of days away with our 3-year-old daughter. The resort is only 1 hour from Brisbane by boat, but feels like a world away when you're there. Have been to Tangalooma 15 years ago, and in the intervening period, they seem to have lost their way as a resort. This time, there was... More
