Moalboal is a small town and nothing interesting here unless for those who want to go snorkeling and diving. From Moalboal city you need to take tricycle to this place. This lodge i can consider the cheapest that i can find plus the place is clean. I've stayed for 1 night and it was a good experience overall.

Had booked Moalboal backpacker Lodge through hostelworld as we wanted somewhere fairly lively to spend new years eve. For people who shy away from tourist hotspots we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff and owner couldnt do more to make us feel welcome and the other travellers staying there were really lovely too.

Really liked it here. Sadly I could only stay one night, but I thought hard about changing my flight! Everything is clean, staff really really nice and helpful. The bamboo social area upstairs is really small, but great to meet fellow travellers.
