Never stayed overnight in 'Purmamarca, but visited often. One of the most beautiful places on earth! Breathtakingly beautiful! Love the pueblo. The square with all the vendors is interesting and fun. It is where you meet and interact with the wonderful locals. But, the entire area is a "must see".

Beautiful setting (there are pet llamas in the garden!), close to everything, nice staff and substantial breakfast. Great spacious cabins, more like hotel standard than a hostel. Can't fault it! Romantic atmosphere but also good for families. Easy to find as well signposted from the main road. Wifi is free in the lobby, too.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to be still and reflect on the changing beauty of the Andes while comfortably ensconsed in a cabin at the edge of town, then this is a great hostel for you. Purmamarca is a very small town on the edge of one of the most stunningly beautiful areas of the Andes -... More

We stayed here for one night on our motorcycle adventure across the Andes. The hostal is well kept, beautifully located and well designed to fit in with the landscape. A big plus for us was the setting of the place, which is really beautiful. Also, we love the fact that it is locally owned and run so your money stays... More

Nothing better after a good night sleep to open the window and see the "7 Colours Mountain" plus the llamas getting they breakfast, amazing. Rooms comfortable and clean. Small but satisfying breakfast (if the portions are not enough for you ask for more, they are just ready to please you anytime), the level of attention is comparable to **** (four)... More

Just returned from 2 nights in Purmamarca, Argentina. This place is perfect!... Clean, distinctive decor, attentive staff. Found bedding to be king size bed (room 7), comfortable, and very much appreciated the extra down comforter! Asked for an early check out, and was offered to have (continental) breakfast set up 1 hour EARLY!...nice... Walked into town... two blocks... hiked the... More

This small posada was a delight. Anna, the owner was a cactus enthusiast- they were everywhere. The rooms were spacious with good views of the seven-coloured mountain opposite. Bathrooms had large shower. Easy walking distance to the town. We loved our two night stay and would have loved to stay longer. A peaceful retreat.

The room was nice, the bed was, like everywhere in Argentina, small, but the hotel was clean, close to the village centre and had plenty of parking space! The wifi was weak. it didn't reach the rooms, but it is accessible in the breakfast and reception area. Breakfast and service are average, but the hotel is conveniently placed in the... More

Cosy but spacious rooms, clean, good facilities, great location close to the centre of the village. Friendly staff. Wi-fi connection weak (not unexpected given remote location!). I loved this hotel, cool Andean decor.

This was the only mudhut, totally made of mud bricks in the traditional way in this region, we stayed in in our 2 week Argtentina trip. Don't get the wrong impression...it was lovely both inside and out...but we were fascinated by the non-hotel experience and the cane built roof. The location is ideal, the staff were extremely helpful and gave... More
