We booked this bed & breakfast last-minute on booking.com. We felt absolutely awful about booking so last-minute because when we arrived Regine was in the middle of yard work and was unaware of our reservation. However, she was quick to jump up and get a room ready for us. We were very, very comfortable and felt very welcome. There was a bit of a language barrier, as we speak very little French and she speaks very little Englis. However, we managed just fine. She accommodated us quickly, and warmly, never making us feel as though we were an inconvenience or a burden. She joyfully welcomed us into her home, for which we were very grateful. We were very comfortable in our upper-level room, and we appreciated the private bathroom with the very tall ceilings. However, it was Regine's breakfast that was the shining star of our stay. We had the most delicious French toast with fresh fruit! The coffee was superb! Merci, Regine, for a wonderful stay!

I've spent the last several nights in various B&B's in the Saguenay region. Although all were nice, this is by far my favourite. Exceptionally clean and spacious rooms, and immaculately maintained property. Regine is a beautiful host, and eager to help. She represents all that is good in Quebec tourism. Highly recommend!

The Auberge is well located close to most Saguenay area attractions. The room we had was upstairs at the end of the wall and we enjoyed a big bathroom with a huge bathtub, big enough for 2 people ! The fan is powerful and therefore quite noisy but ...it works well. Breakfast is generous and very good. But most of all, the host is fantastic. She smiles all the time and jokes all the time. She is a great resource to tell you where to go to enjoy the best of the area.

Our room was in the adjacent house. We were on the ground-floor, in an en-suite room which was compact but very comfortable. Both houses are close to the road but we were unaware of traffic during the night. The river is over the road and across a field, and the valley is a very pleasant place to be. Supper is excellent (but book in advance). We were there for two nights and one night Régine was not cooking, but she recommended a good place a few miles down the road, overlooking the fjord at l'Anse St Jean. Breakfast is excellent. Whilst it's not the cheapest B&B we nevertheless considered it very good value for money. Régine is a delightful host with lots of information and suggestions to share - note that it's good if you can speak some French.

We liked Régine's welcome. She is a warm and nice hostess. You can tell that she loves to welcome her customers and to give all the touristic informations they need. The breakfast is generous and good : eggs or crêpes/french toast, home made jam, orange juice… We had dinner once : a three courses meal for 30 $ (+ taxes and tip that you add to your bill at check out). It was worth it. The food was very good. Note that you have to be patient to be served, it takes some time. Make sure to book for dinner since morning, otherwise, you will have to go to the bistro nearby, which also a good place to eat. We liked our room much less. Ours was small and specially the "bathroom" which was more like a closet containing a toilet and a shower. There was a small sink in the room. We had no AC and the weather was rather hot. There are surely more comfortable rooms, so make sure to choose the one suitable for you. The village of Petit Saguenay is a nice and quiet place, with a stunning view on the fjord.

Friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast. Beautiful spot. Rooms smallish but well presented and cared for. Some have a balcony. Make sure to go down to the 'Quai'. Good local store and nice Bistro that do a limited menu but all home cooked and well presented.

Régine welcomed us to her small hotel where we found a charming, clean room and big breakfast with homemade jam. Her advice to try the bistro in town for dinner was just what we were looking for. Easy parking, on main road so easy to find but little traffic so peaceful for sleeping. Régine guided us to easy access to hike along salmon river, local artisans and magnificent view of the fjord.

we got to our destination early and the owner let us take the room and get settled before we went on our excursion. The room was clean and quaint nothing to fancy but very comfortable bed. My wife and i decided on the hotel supper prepared by the owner,it was delicious and the presentation was very nice. The owner was very king and loved to talk. I wished we would have stayed longer. When you are there you have to go to the dock in petit Sagenay to see the view of the fjord, its really nice. Also the river falls to see the salmon jump is also something to see if you like that kind of thing. Overall my wife and i were very pleased with this auberge
