We stayed at Makis in May 2012. Lovely place, friendly staff , felt very welcome as the owner carried my luggage to our room :D ! hotel is literally by the sea so we didn't have to walk much :) , we even got free drinks on the house at the bar !! it pleasure to stay in there !!

The service has always been excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. The pool is good and clean and the sea is just the other side of the road. water sports nearby. Good breakfast of the continental style, good snacks and useful bar.

Kefalonia we found not as we had expected. We normally go to Corfu which is much greener and prettier. The hotel was horrible, no real assistance with luggage on arrival.
