There is only one word to describe this small resort and that is brilliant. There was plenty of room in the villas and the villas were well equipped - even a washing machine. The villas were clean Any problems when reported it was dealt with the same day. The reception staff were great and the pool bar was brilliant, a great... More

Just back from another, very enjoyable holiday at Sueno Azul. We really did not recognise the resort from the review written by Jim bOOb. We first stayed ay the resort over 20 years ago, loved it and now own 5 weeks there. It is a small resort of 31 identical villas each containing 3 bedrooms (one ensuite), a shower room... More

The resort is extremely small but very tidy. The accommodation is very pretty, very clean and of a high standard but the electrics need servicing as our villa had a dangerous socket in the kitchen. The villas are well equipped including washing machines. You can get all the important TV channels so you don't miss any episodes of the English... More

Thank you for your comments and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. With regards to supermarkets, the village of Callao Salvaje has a Netto but if you prefer larger supermarkets akin to Tesco/Sainsburys then there is the choice of Mercadona, HiperTrebol or HiperDino all within 5 - 10 mins drive. You do not need to travel to Los... More

My family have stayed at Wimpen's Sueno Azul many times so thought I'd write a review to say what a lovely holiday destination this is. The well equipped villas have their own little gardens complete with BBQ and sun loungers for those not wishing to sit at the gorgeous pool. Table and chairs under a lovely wooden gazebo is the... I did not recognise the review entitled 'Been to better'! Value for money, the resort represents exceptional value. We have been coming now every year for the past 15 years, and each time there is always some improvement, sometimes only minor and other times major. The villas are spotless, the reception staff very welcoming, and on the rare occasions you... More

First time I have stayed at Sueno Azul and probably the last. For a "gold star" resort it was a bit lacking. First of all I was asked to leave a 25 euro/week deposit for water and electricity. First time ever that I have been asked for that. Secondly, we ordered the 25 euro food package that was offered and... More

Thank you for your comments and we are disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay. In response to the points you raise: 1) RCI exchange guests are required to pay utility fees on site which is standard practice across timeshare resorts especially in the Canary Islands due to the high costs of local water/electricity. The RCI catalogue clearly states... More

Joined my sister and husband at very minute last October. It was all done in such a rush I didn't know what to expect (booked at 7pm one night and flew the next afternoon). What a wonderful surprise awaited me! The bungalows are beautiful, spaciious, well appointed and immaculately clean. The fridge/freezer kept our wine nicely chilled, and the washing... More

Stayed here for short winter break with family. Lovely time had by all. Bungalow big enough for four adults and two children. Pool not large but was not busy at this time and empty most days. Restaurant good on site and Ian the perfect host. Menu varied enough even with two non meat eaters in our party. We also shared... More

Just had a Xmas break here and found the villa's furnished to a high standard and found it very comfortable for 4 people. The villa was spotless and the maid visited twice during the week. The pool area is very small and if during the summer months the resort was full, it could be a problem if alot of people... More
