Yeah, so something was missing when I checked into my room--a single blessed square inch of daylight. If you're not claustrophobic and don't care about fire safety then no big deal I guess. So here's the rundown:
Location: fabulous if you're here for the UNESCO sites. It's right near the gorgeous square that fronts onto the Leal Senado.

Spent a night for transit to Hong Kong. The location wise might not as good to the central hotel as required lot of walk to the nearby touristic point. We are staying at 3rd floor. The room is not really pleasent and lack of maintanance and It is not sounds proof as you easily heard the noise at the corridor....

As walk-in guests we requested to see the room first, the Hotel Central refuses to let the guests have a look first.

terrible stay, the moment i saw the sign of the hotel i know it is terrible, i notice they dont have a computer at lobby... all things recorded on hand....
the lift is old, room door has big gap and you can hear people from next door/corridor

Been there and good location. places of interest is nearby. we stayed at the 5th floor ( 3 beds )
room is clean but the bathroom is pretty old. its ok & clean. Staff is ok..just not friendly enough. Lift is too small..hardly to fit in 4 adults.
