This hotel is not in the main casino area. If you're looking for that, it's a short cab ride away. This is not an all-out fancy 5 star hotel, but it is quiet, refined and elegant, great for family trips and sightseeing. Service was impeccable. Staff are always at hand if you need help. The room was decorated simply but... More

i stayed at Royal for 2nights, and was lucky enough to get a room on the top floor facing the garden. The view was very nice. The room is very clean, posh & even the bath amenities are branded (Aigner). Lots of channels on TV and the bed & pillows are very comfortable. Rooms are v clean, & sound proofing's... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is ok on the whole but I won't consider it a 5-star rated hotel. It's very ordinary but the room is quite spacious with all toiletries and 2 bottles of complementary water. I was initially given a room facing an uncompleted building. It looked scary with all the empty windows.... More

Good hotel, very comfortable and clean rooms, excellent service. It is within an easy walking distance of main sites or alternatively just cheap taxi ride away. The service at reception was spotless and the whole feel about the place is very luxurious. Unfortunately we did not go to the swimming pool or had breakfast there. They have a shuttle bus... More

I checked in on Hotel Royal Macau in May the 6th and check out on May the 22nd. I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is well located, there are bus stops near buy and the hotel as a shuttle every 30 minutes during the day. The most difficult thing is to catch a taxi, they stop at the... More

Having stayed in a cheap and tiny Hong Kong hostel room for two nights, we were more than pleased with this hotel for our night in Macau. We stayed on a weekday and got an upgrade to a Deluxe twin room. The room and bathroom were very spacious, the window big. The bed was too hard for my liking, but... More

Well situated for walking the Old City. A few blocks from St Michaels Cemetary and 10 blocks from Guia Fort, I walked to the Ruins and Fortress/Museum in an hour. What I liked about the Royal Hotel: free shuttle bus from ferry terminal, large room with a view, fridge, kettle, big bathroom with tub and shower, safe for valuables, lots... More

This place is ok for Macau - basically you get what you pay for. It isn't very luxuous but the hotel is decent enough, very clean, well situated (walkable distance to the old macau and other big casinos like grand Lisboa, wynn...), service is decent and restaurant is good value for money. Their isn't any wifi in the rooms (only... More
