We were lucky enough to visit this most magical castle for lunch date with our Italian friend. Our visit here turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. The restaurant manager Antonio was warm and friendly and the food, wine and attention to detail was outstanding. We do not speak any Italian and this was not a problem. We... More

If you want to have the most perfect wedding in Umbria and not have to do much planning, Castello di Casigliano Country Inn in Acquasparta is the answer! I "planned" my entire wedding from Washington, DC with the quick and able assistance of Mara and Chiara, the two women who work for Francesca at the Castello, not setting foot in... More

Castello di Casigliano is a very old historic castle with lovely apartments in the small houses around it. It has a great atmosphere and ideal for couples and families with childern. The apartments are clean and have enough space. The castle village is not very touristic because there are still inhabitants. In the weekends a lot of locals visit the... More

We stayed in a charming apartment -"Il Forno" (The Oven-aptly named due to the heat-wave over the weekend). It was well-equipped and tastefully furnished. The apartments have access to a lovely garden with the wonderful scent of jasmine and other flowers. The swimming pool is rather small but perfect for cooling off and relaxing. The castle itself is really impressive... More

We were very pleased with my choice of accommodations for our 3 day end of the trip vacation in Italy (2 weeks at a villa in Tuscany). Staying in the castle was like being on a movie set but real. LaNoce apartment is probably the best of the ones available with a small balcony full of flowering plants. We didn't... More

We loved our stay at Castello di Casigliano! Every member of the staff there went above and beyond the "norm" to make our stay at the Country Inn spectacular. Romano, the manager, is our "Italian angel" who came to our rescue when we lost our way and got stuck on the road! The restaurant is 5 star in excellence of... More

I have been here for a romantic w-end with my girl friend. We booked the pack IO & TE IN UNA "FUGA D'AMORE". It was fantastic! We had dinner in a single room (only for two of us) of a 15th century medieval castle. The dinner they served with a precious style & charme was crazy... treditional foods and ingredients... More

Depending on what you are looking for. Food was great. Rooms were unique to the setting. Variety of room packages, all differ. Need a car to get to the Castle. Good for a quiet getaway.

This place is okay, nothing really wrong but nothing very special. Sure, it is kind of neat to imagine staying within an ancient castle ground, but the downside is that there is little there once you arrive. If you want to be by yourself, relatively quiet, and somewhat funky this could be your paradise. It wasn't mine. We had a... More
