This hotel is a complete dive. We couldn't even last one night in our room which faced a brick wall and was decorated in the style of the house your grandparents had in the 70's. We stayed at the Del Rey apartments October 2012 (half term). As half term was later this year it went into November and just wanted to warn everyone. We stayed here in august of this year and had a really fantastic time, Del Rey is clean and really friendly, we loved it. As for the night life VINCENTS BAR is the best, TOMMY is brill kept us entertained for the entire 2 weeks and all the staff are fantastic. Already booked for next year!!!!!! A great place to stay if you want to chill out. I agree that there are a lot of stairs so these apartments are no good if you are elderly and the Spanish do have quaint ways of building slopes and trying to make things wheelchair friendly but I would hate to be on any of the floors or walkways...
