We spend a week in Sam Roi Yot and the hotel we stayed at did not have a pool. We went to Anchana everyday to use their pool, if you do not have drinks and?or drinks there they charge you for the use. But the food is absolutely superb, both the western and thai food! The only restaurant in Thailand... More

This hotel and the surrounding resort had everything we wanted for a week of doing nothing seeing nothing except spending time together in the pool, walking the beach and going out for good food. The area is low key, quaint and old fashioned and we felt at home and instantly relaxed. For the more adventerous there is kayaking, biking, sightseeing... More

I stayed here as part of a group and have all amounts of praise for the local staff at this hotel, but was really disappointed by the standard of accommodation. The staff went out of their way to make our group's stay comfortable, despite being put under enormous pressure from the Bangkok Head Office to move some of us out... More

Stayed 3 nights over the New Year period. Room was clean. Nice design/style. Nice pool. Close to beach. However, all the niceties are only skin deep. Beneath the surface the hotel was terrible - racist and ignorant (Thai) staff, slow service and poor management/organization. We got lost trying to find the place. Once we arrived, we tried to inform the... More

Stayed here as the first stop of our grasshopper adventures bike ride down to Ko Samui/Ko Tao. When we arrived, we were greeted with cold towels and a nice, cold grape juice....such a nice touch. Overall great experience was great. Literally just a stone throw away from the beach. The area is quiet and quaint. Our room package included breakfast... More

We stayed Dec 27-30 and will certainly go back. We had our own transport but it is easy to get around without, if you feel the need. A six km beach right in front, with mountains and islands to look at and a national park 10 min away. Anchana offers very nice rooms and friendly staff, make sure you book... More

I want to relax and my friend choose this place. We didn't try a restaurant it's near a swimming pool but they said guarantee from somethings. Breakfast is fine close at 10am although we still sit in there, they still serve. Only 2 staff for spa, don't forget to make an appointment.

This is not a luxury hotel. But it is comfortable, quite nice, pretty beds, a few extra touches, good outdoor pool, and across the street from an OK beach. Breakfast is just fine.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Anchana. As an expat living in Thailand, this was a great getaway during the week. On arrival, reception had our check-in form ready and knew my surname. We were shown through to our room and had beautiful delicious watermelon cocktails as welcome drinks, not just some warm juice, this was freshly prepared. The... More
