Absolutely stunning views from the bedroom window and a host who clearly does genuinely love running his beautiful B and B and meeting new people but ,on the whole, there were too many niggly things that need sorting out. I am not a particularly fussy traveller but it was february and a bit cold and i would have appreciated a hairdrier. We stayed two nights but the bedroom and bathroom were never cleaned - i think i MAY have read somewhere on the website that rooms are cleaned every two days and, to be honest, that would normally be more than enough considering how much mess you actually make, but water escaped from the shower screen onto the bathroom floor and so half of our towels were used to mop up the puddles ; finding a new set all clean and fluffy at the end of our second day would have been nice. pillows were Incredibly thin. the bedroom was directly underneath the owners' appartment and as they seem to have kept the original stone flooring upstairs we could hear every... more
