My daughter and I stayed here after there was a problem with the gite we had originally booked, we were grateful to Trevor and Caroline for booking us in at short notice. For most of the week we had the place to ourselves, a lovely room at the top of the house, clean and spacious. Lovely breakfast taken in the... More

We just came back from a wonderful week at the south of France, we stayed at L'Ancienne Vigneronne (at Mailhac), house of Trevord and Caroline. Everything was just perfect in this B&B. We have to say that Mailhac is a small town but it is close to almost every little place you want to visit in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Close... More

Just returned from an excellent stay at L'ancienne Vigneronne and highly recommend it. It has something for everyone. Caroline and Trevor are very friendly and welcoming and have excellent knowledge of the area and where to visit. The B&B is simply beautiful, spotlessly clean and full of French rural charm. Lovely breakfast sitting outside under the grape canopy and delicious... More

This B&B was excellent. Lovely location, fantastic friendly hosts, spotlessly clean , comfy beds , great food , nice pool - very welcome after a long day of travel. 10 out of 10. The village is quiet so perhaps not the best place for children but for our 1 night there it was perfect.

As a couple we have just had 5 nights at this great B & B. Caroline will do a really tasty meal if you want in the evening at excellent value. Breakfasts are more that the standard basic French food - homemade cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit etc. The outside patio/poolarea has great shade from a vine and a small pool... More

A very good B&B, Trevor and Caroline are good hosts. We stayed in two rooms both of which were spotless as were the bathrooms, one of which was en suite. Breakfast was plentiful and there was plenty of information to hand on places to go, restaurants etc etc. We availed ourselves of a meal on the first night with our... More

10 / 10 for the hosts Trevor and Caroline who made us (Anne, Dave, Matthew and Ellie) feel so welcome during our stay. The two rooms we occupied were beautifully decorated and spotless. Breakfast in the court yard was wonderful with homemade preserves etc. The jacuzzi pool - well we couldnt get Matthew and Ellie out - hours of fun.... More

Went to the Carcassonne area with my wife for a short break last week and stayed at a B&B I found on the internet. Its called L'ancienne Vigneronne and is in a small town called Mailhac about 45 minutes from Carcassonne Airport. Caroline and Trevor did a marvellous job making us feel totally at home in their beautiful home with... More
