We have learnt to book a table well in advance. The food is amazing, served in a warm, cozy and friendly environment. The staff are always willing to help. We look forward to seeing what 'specials' are on the menu that night...it can be anything from Turbot to Pheasant. Never had a bad meal yet.

This is a really lovely pub that has does wonderful home made food. The choice is good and probably something for everyone. We went on a Saturday lunchtime. It started off fairly quiet but soon filled with customers who had specifically come to dine. Well worth a visit, pubs like the Staff of Life are few and far between.
