This hotel is a bit more expensive than most of the budget places in Paksé, but it's worth it, especially after many nights spent in very low budget hostels. The rooms are very clean, huge and with aircon and bathroom, the staff is ok, we could even leave our bags for three days without any extra cost. Internet is free.... More

We stayed three nights in large twin room at Alisa Guesthouse (120.000Kip). PRO: Well equipped room: TV, fridge, aircon, desk, hot shower, large bathroom. Central located. CON: very very noisy to the street side, very uncomfortable beds: the matress is stil in a plastik shell. The cleaning staff sprays bed, blankest and pillows with very poison insect killers. I think... More

We stayed elsewhere for our first night in Pakse, then did a 5-day motorbike tour of the Bolevan Plateau. On our return we stayed at Alisa and loved it! Much cleaner than the other place and almost $10/night cheaper! The location is great - walking distance to good restaurants and across the street from a convenience store. We also rented... More

The hotel was reasonably expensive for Laos, but it was a good sized room, clean and with free wifi. Near plenty of restaurants and bars, great place to arrange what you are doing in southern Laos. Would highly recommend!

After some of the other budget lodging I've stayed in Laos on this trip, this was really wonderful place to stay. Although we had to opt for a double plus single room, it still didn't break our budget. And there's alot to be said for not feeling creepy each time you go into the bathroom. The bathroom, the room, the... More

Over the years, I've stayed at five different places in Pakse, ranging from the very basic Fang Sedone Guesthouse to the fairly upmarket Pakse Hotel. Overall, Alisa is the best deal I've found. They had no doubles when we walked in so we took a triple (double bed and single bed) for 150,000 kip. The room was very spacious and... More

Stayed here our first night in Pakse. We would have stayed the whole time if we hadn't got sick and just wanted something a bit more upmarket. It's definitely a guesthouse and not a hotel but that's not the worst thing. Pros: it is a great value and in a incredibly central location. It's just above the Bolevan Cafe. Ok... More

Large room with great beds, fresh linen, cold air-con, TV, WI-FI, hot shower, fridge and a balcony with a view of the main drag...clean throughout and efficient laid back reception staff...close to a great Malay/Indian eatery as well as the "Pizza Boy" restaurant...This guest house is great value for its high standard!

The Alisa Guest house is very nice. It is about mid range so we payed 120000Kip for a double bed room but the nice and clean rooms and the hot shower is really worth it. We stayed there just one night but we could have stayed longer. We also rented motorbikes at the hotel and everything went great. The motorbikes... More
