We arrived quite late and a little tardy for dinner but they made every effort to serve us. The place has real charm and is a beautiful location. Real shame we had no time to explore!!! More

I have been immensely blessed to stay at Chateau des Briottieres two times now,and each time was like a piece of Heaven ! The Chateau is absolutely stunning with its' lovely antiques, cosy bedrooms, beautiful gallery, romantic dining room, charming salon, and exquisite grounds. I arrived very late, around 12:00 midnight, and Lee the intern was at the door to graciously let me in,and showed... More

If you ever wanted to experience some time in an 18th century CHATEAU, furnished with authentic antiques, original artwork, books and memorabilia, this is your place. The buildings have been restored and decorated in the Owner's wonderful concept of their original condition. The building has been in the same family from its original construction, and the present generation is charming,... More

We booked here for a overnight stay on our way back from our 2 week holiday. When arriving we were first impressed by the splendour of the building and then further suitably impressed by the internal decor... however the true beauty of this place was the friendliness of all around and the superb food we enjoyed. We will definitely be... More

We had only one night to spend at this beautiful Chateau as we were using it as a stopgap on our travels further south. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definately return. We were given the whole of the 'Fruitiers' which has 4 bedrooms i think though we only used the one! We had a beautiful... More

We only booked this place as an overnight stop on our way back to Calais and found it just by googling chateaux in the area - but what an amazing find! The chateau and it's surrounding buildings and location are beautiful. The whole place is elegant, romantic, tranquil and beautiful; it really is somewhere very special. We would love to... More

I booked this short stay because my wife and I missed the countryside summer vacation in a large family house we used to stay at every year in France. For that purpose we were more than satisfied and meeting the owner and seeing all the young people working around gave a traditional family style to the place. Even the candle... More

We decided last minute that we wanted to see the Loire valley and started looking for a castle to stay over night. We found a couple of castle but the only one which was available was the Chateau des Briottieres. When we reached the castle it was already 8pm and the aperitif started already. The other guests where sitting outside... More

Their family curry sauce was superb along with the choice of local wines. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming in a house owned by their family for 200 years- we were able to enjoy the day in conversations with other guests. The grounds and setting are beautiful. Breakfast and the dinners were all a wonderful experience. More
