I recently stayed there for a couple days at Easter with my husband and parents. The property is enchanting, with grass, forest, and ponds. The rooms leave you feeling like a princess, large, beautifully decorated, with a huge bathtub. The salons, decorated in deep red, with antiques and a huge fireplace make you feel completely relaxed and at home. The... More

This was such a special experience!!! The place is like something out of a novel (movie actually, it was the setting for “Impromptu” with Hugh Grant) when we arrived there was no one and we called and were told where the key was hidden… we were asked to walk in and make ourselves at home until the manager returned… it... I had the opportunity to stay here earlier this month. The staff, cleanliness of the rooms, food and ambiance were excellent and it only made me want to return and bring my closest friends and family ASAP. The view from the rooms is beautiful, the owner of the chateau treats you like family and the food is one of the... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, and could not recommend it more for those who love gracious living and the countryside. The most beautifuland romantic chateau with interiors to match. Some lovely walks. Excellent and charming service. Delicious set menu. A peaceful spot, where it feels as if one is staying in someones fabulous home. A warm welcome... More

This was the sort of place you hope to discover and so rarely do.Charming, unmessed about with, lovely views, big sitting rooms and bags of old fashioned comfort warmth and style.Perfect. The entrance to the hotel from the road is exactly as you would hope for. The entrance into the Hotel is even better and the Bloke who owns it actually immediately... More

My wife and I stayed at the charming side building for one night as part of our honeymoon, and we are in sum a little torn about our stay. On the one hand, the host was very friendly, the food good and the chateau a little worn but beautiful. The porch especially was very nice with great views suitable for... More

This is not a hotel, it is the owner’s stunning historical, home that has been in his family for 7 generations and you certainly get the feeling are you are staying in someone’s home. If you do not like unnecessary ‘over attention’ your stay will be very chilled out. The place is large enough that you rarely run into the... More

The Chateau was lovely!! Beautifully appointed with pool and trampoline for our son. The breakfast was delicious and the dinners excellent!! The hospitality was classic French but very warm and caring!! Francois and his team were gracious and charming. They also made many suggestions for sights to see. They even did some laundry for us!! WE arrived exhausted and left... More

The hosts are charming and work hard to make your stay memorable. It is a privately owned chateau and you are the guests of the owners who greet you at the door, show you to your room and pour an aperitif in the exquisite drawing room before dinner. No menu, you eat what is offered for the evening meal and... More

The experience was worth the long drive from Brittany. The hosts were charming and the rooms - we stayed in the Orangery - were absolutely lovely. Tasteful and at the same time homely. Fabulous tennis court, table tennis table, full size trampoline (for son) and exquisite pool. Gorgeous gardens. We were made to feel extremely welcome and enjoyed a first... More
