We stayed over the road from this pub and ate there twice. The food prices were great value and the combo is awesome! Nice regulars made it warm and welcoming so I would recommend it wholeheartedly. Someone overheard us say it was cold outside and lit a lovely fire. Nice touch!

Decided to try here on a weekend away with friends , glad we did. The service was great, really friendly and welcoming staff , lovely dining area and good menu selection. The food was very tasty and good value for money too, nice atmosphere in the dining room and the bar. Would definitely go again and would recommend it

Visited here whilst staying with some family in Rothbury. 4 of us had a meal out - the food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves. Would not hesitate to visit again! Thank you!

The Queens Head Rothbury is a hidden gem in Northumberland. The food is absolutely delicious and obviously created by and enthusiastic chef given the fabulous ever changing specials on offer. The waiting staff are very welcoming, accommodating and friendly and I will certainly be re-visiting time and time again.

We should have known not to order looking at the filthy surroundings, shabby interior and waiters dirty clothes. However we were hungry so we ordered hot pork sandwiches which were greasy along with thick slabs of over cooked meat. Overall a bad experience. Payment was taking before the meal arrived and poor service.
